Philosophical inquiry is a central element in the intellectual history of many civilizations.

فلسفه (از یونان، به روش لاتین، فلسفه، "عشق عقل") تفکر منطقی، انتزاعی و روش شناختی واقعیت به عنوان یک کل یا ابعاد بنیادین وجود و تجربه انسان است. تحقیق فلسفی یک عنصر اصلی در تاریخ فکری بسیاری از تمدن ها است.
